TAKE 56 has a form resembling a bamboo shoot to make the grip easy to hold and to apply torque. A parachute cord at the end of the grip adds to the Japanese style of the tool. TAKE 56 has a 5mm allen key on one side, and 6mm on the other. TAKE (meaning Bamboo) 56 is designed to fit perfectly in the hand, giving maximum torque for even hard to shift, rusty bolts.

“Ideal Qualia” is Runwell’s basic concept - Perfect tools should have the right feel of texture and quality.

Runwell began in 1935 as a scrap metal workshop called “Aiba Dotetsu-Ten” in Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan, an area famous for metalwork for centuries. In 1963, after investing in new forges, they began making tools for cars and agricultural machinery. In the late 1980s, they began experimenting with new materials and techniques, and in 2011, their new brand Runwell was born. A combination of traditional methods and experience from making custom tools for major corporations resulted in a level of quality worthy of the 'Made in Japan' label.
