Size Guide

tokyobike models come in a range of sizes to fit everybody.

Please refer to this guide to determine the correct bike size for you prior to placing your order. The guide is provided as a reference – everyone's body is different and you may have a sizing preference.

If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us for further advice.

How to Select Your Size

Our bikes come in four sizes in our Classic Sport (CS) and Sport models, and three sizes in our Bisou model. Your size can be determined by your height, as well as by the length of your inner leg in relation to the standover height. Follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to measure your inner leg.

The Standover Height

The standover height is the height of the bike from the floor to the top tube as pictured below.

How to Measure Your Inner Leg Length

The length of your inner leg can be measured by standing upright with a book clasped between your legs as pictured (to allow for the width of the top tube). The optimal inner leg length is approximately 2.5cm more than the standover height, so that you can comfortably stand flat-footed over the top tube.
